Work Product Reviews
I perform Work Product Reviews on reports issued by a Child and Family Investigator. The process entails me reviewing the report and underlying file to determine if the CFI followed CJD 04-08 and applied Colorado’s family law statutes in reaching recommendations. As a part of the WPR, I will testify in court regarding my opinion regarding the CFI report. I do not interview parties, interview the child, speak to witnesses, or make any parenting time recommendations as part of the WPR.
My role is limited to giving an expert opinion on whether the CFI report properly followed the order of appointment, CJD 04-08, and Colorado family law statutes.
FEE SCHEDULE
$2,500 retainer and I charge $350/hour. I require a copy of the underlying file from the CFI or PRE before I begin work. I do not bill against the retainer. Instead, I send invoices twice per month for the work completed. Upon completion of work the retainer is refunded. I require a credit card on file before I begin work.
